Romfilatelia and the Romanian Post announced that a new stamp issue dedicated to National Culture Day will be released into circulation on Thursday.
"As every year, on 15 January, the Romanian stamp marks National Culture Day through an issue bearing the same title, paying tribute to outstanding figures of national culture: Nicolae Iorga (postage stamp with a face value of 5.50 lei), Andrei Muresanu (postage stamp with a face value of 10 lei) and Stefan Luchian (postage stamp with a face value of 25 lei)," Romfilatelia said on Wednesday.
In addition to the three postage stamps, the issue also includes a first-day cover, a set of three maximum cards for maximaphily enthusiasts, and a philatelic folder featuring a special product in a limited edition.
The issue will be available from Thursday in Romfilatelia shops in Bucharest, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Timisoara, as well as online.
