Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu, stated on Wednesday that, after the "No convicts in public office" initiative will be adopted by the Senate, the Government is obliged to hold a referendum within 30 days.
He mentioned that he would recommend to the PSD (Social Democratic Party) group leader in the Senate to support the introduction of the initiative on the agenda.
