More than 100 police officers and fighters from the response structures in the counties of Maramures, Suceava, Iasi, Vaslui, Galati and Tulcea, together with representatives of the "Fulger" Special Purpose Brigade from the Republic of Moldova, the Special Operations Forces (FOS) and the Guardia Civil from Spain, are participating, as of Monday, in a large integrated training exercise - ''Blue Guardians," organized by the Botosani County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) in collaboration with the Suceava County Police Inspectorate.

According to a press release of the Botosani PJ sent on Monday to AGERPRES, throughout the week, the participants will carry out complex tactical training activities, training in difficult terrain and firing with all categories of weapons in the equipment, in conditions that simulate real interventions.

The exercise will end on Friday, May 30, with a tactical demonstration based on an operational scenario, which will emphasise inter-institutional cooperation, field coordination and integrated response to specific threats.

"Such activities contribute essentially to increasing the operational capacity of intervention structures, harmonising procedures and developing a common security culture. The trainings carried out in an integrated system allow testing the effectiveness of tactics in a realistic setting, while the exchange of experience between participants - coming from different structures, but with similar missions - facilitates rapid adaptation to new types of threats and strengthens international collaboration in the field of public order and security," specifies IPJ.
