FCSB spectacularly qualified for the round of 16 of the Europa League football competition, after defeating the Greek team PAOK Salonic, coached by Romanian Razvan Lucescu, with a score of 2-0 (1-0), Thursday evening, at the National Arena in Bucharest, in the second leg of the play-off.
The Romanian champions also won the first leg, with a score of 2-1, but had defeated PAOK in Salonic on October 3, in the main phase of the competition, with a score of 1-0.
Juri Cisotti (min. 30) and David Miculescu (min. 81) scored the goals of a splendid victory, in front of over 50,000 spectators.
FCSB will play in the round of 16 with Olympique Lyon or Eintracht Frankfurt. The draw for the round of 16 matches will take place on Friday, in Nyon, at 2:00 p.m.
