The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday's trading session higher on most indices, with turnover at 3.87 million RON (778,469 EUR) carried out in the first 35 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, went up by 0.14%, the same as the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers advanced by 0.06%, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK, inched up by 0.01%.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies was down 0.32%, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG lost 0.02%.
According to BVB data, the biggest increases in share values were recorded by Condmag (+9.09), AAGES (+2.60%) and Fondul Proprietatea (+1.64%).
On the other hand, COMCM Constanta (-4.10%), Electromagnetica (-1.70%) and Alumil Rom Industry (-1.47%) were down.
