Romanian table tennis player Bianca Mei-Rosu won the bronze medal in the Under-19 age category on Sunday, in the Europe Youth Top 10 competition, in Tours (France), which brought together the best of the U15 and U19 juniors on the continent, according to the website of the Romanian Table Tennis Federation.
Bianca Mei-Rosu lost on Sunday to French Nina Guo Zheng, 2-4 (8-11, 11-6, 8-11, 11-8, 8-11, 8-11), but defeated Polish Karolina Holda, 4-1 (9-11, 11-4, 11-6, 11-8, 11-2), to which is added the victory at the ''green table'' with Veronika Matiunin (Ukraine), who declared a forfeit, according to Agerpres.
Nina Guo Zheng ranked first, with 15 points, followed by another French, Leana Hochart, with 15 points, and Bianca Mei-Rosu, with 14 points, etc. The Romanian only lost to the first two ranked players.
In the Under-15, Patricia Stoica ranked second to last, 9th, with 11 points. The competition was won by Koharu Itagaki, with straight wins (18 points), followed by French Alexia Nodin, 17 points, Hanka Kodet, 16 points, etc.
