The photovoltaic park "Da Vinci New Project" in Nanov, Teleorman county, has been completed, the investment, which occupies an area of about 24.7 hectares having an installed capacity of 23.106 MW, Energy Minister Sebastian Burduja announced on Saturday.
"Today we announce the completion of the photovoltaic park "Da Vinci New Project" in Nanov, Teleorman county. The project is realized with financial support from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) - Component C6: Energy. The investment covers an area of approximately 24.7 hectares and has an installed capacity of 23.106 MW. The plant uses 39,600 high-efficiency photovoltaic panels (CHSM72N - 585 W) and is equipped with 78 CPS275 KTL - 275 kW inverters, contributing to the production of clean energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by about 88,310 tonnes of CO2 equivalent," the minister wrote on his Facebook page.
The project, implemented by the company Alive Capital, also includes an electricity storage component, currently in the execution phase, which will integrate a 5 MW/10 MWh energy storage system. This expansion contributes to increasing the flexibility and stability of the national energy system, supporting the strategic objectives of integrating renewable energy, he added.
"Romania's independence, which we are celebrating today, also depends on our energy independence. Every new MW in the system is a step in this direction and an extra chance for lower bills. It is the most important goal of my mandate: investments, investments, investments. In the public arena, one often faces injustices, lies and insults. If one wants to get things done, they're a nuisance. But it is better to bother some people than to do nothing and disappoint everyone," emphasized Sebastian Burduja. AGERPRES
