Over the course of eight days, the audience will be able to discover productions by some of the most important Hungarian theatres in Romania: Szigligeti Theatre from Oradea, Teatrul de Nord from Satu Mare (Harag Gyorgy Troupe), Csiky Gergely Hungarian State Theatre from Timisoara, Tomcsa Sandor Theatre from Odorheiu Secuiesc, Udvarter Theatre from Targu Secuiesc.

The festival programme includes important titles and productions from the current season.

The festival will open with the show "Lysistrata, My Love" by Matei Visniec, directed by Anca Bradu, produced by the Szigligeti Theater from Oradea, on Monday, at the Liviu Ciulei Hall of the Bulandra Theater.

According to the organizers, BukFeszt 2025 consolidates the tradition and proposes a new step in the festival's mission: promoting intercultural dialogue, supporting artistic diversity and bringing to Bucharest the most relevant shows of the Hungarian season in Romania.
