Representatives of the National Defence Ministry (MApN) will take part, over three days (Saturday, Sunday and Monday), in commemorative activities organised at monuments dedicated to the Fallen Heroes of the December 1989 Revolution.
According to a Ministry of National Defence press release, in Bucharest the ceremonies will follow the schedule below:
* Saturday, 20 December:
- 10:00 - Roadside crucifix of the "Cenusa" Crematorium;
- 12:00 - Commemorative Monument dedicated to the Timisoara Martyr Heroes in Popesti-Leordeni;
- 15:00 - Pro Memoria 89 Monument Faith, Courage, Heroism "The Hero's Sign" (Delfinului Square, Sector 2);
* Sunday, 21 December:
- 10:00 - Heroes of the Revolution Cemetery;
- 11:30 - Coltea Hospital "Roadside crucifix";
- 12:00 - Roadside crucifix Monument at Saint George the New Church;
- 12:30 - University Square;
- 13:30 - Martyr Heroes Monument at Dalles Hall;
- 14:30 - Roman Square "Roadside crucifix";
* Monday, 22 December:
- 09:00 - Monument to honour the Heroes of the December 1989 Revolution/Revolution Square;
- 10:00 - Romanian Broadcasting Company;
- 11:00 - "Roadside crucifix" at Romanian Television;
11:30 - "Paratroopers' roadside crucifix" at Romanian Television;
12:30 - Telephone Palace.
