The trade balance deficit exceeded 13.412 billion euros in January-November 2011, by 2.062 billion euros more compared with the one recorded in the same period of 2017, according to the data published on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
In the said interval, FOB exports totalled 63.133 billion euros and CIF imports accounted for 76.546 billion euros. Thus, compared with the first eleven months of last year, exports increased in January 1 - November 30 2018 by 8.6 per cent and imports by 10.1 per cent.
The following structures of exports and imports had important weights in the first eleven months of 2018: vehicles and transport equipment (47.5% in exports and 38% in imports) and other manufactured products (32.2% in exports and 30.7 per cent in imports).
The value of intra-EU28 exchanges of goods in the first eleven months of 2018 totalled 48.573 billion euros in shipping and 57.231 billion in introductions, representing 76.9 per cent in total exports and 74.8 in total imports.
The value of extra-EU28 exchanges of goods reached 14.561 billion euros in exports and 19.315 billion euros in reports, representing 23.1 % of total exports and 25.2% of total imports.
According to the INS, in November 2018, FOB exports totalled 5.943 billion euros, and CIF imports totalled 7.511 billion euros, resulting a deficit of 1.567 billion euros.
Compared with November 2017, exports in November 2018 increased by 2.7% and imports increased by 8.7%.
