The motion picture, video, television programmes production, as well as programming and broadcasting activities contributed most to the growth by 13.1 percent of the turnover of services rendered mainly to enterprises in the first nine months of the year compared to the same period of 2016, reveal the data provided by the National Institute of Statistics (INS), published on Tuesday.
Therefore, between 1 January - 30 September 2017, in nominal terms, the increase of the turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises, as gross series, was due to other services provided mainly to enterprises (+16.5 percent), transports (+14.7 percent), information service activities and information technology activities (+7.9 percent) and communications (+3.5 percent).
Moreover, in the same period, compared to the first nine months of the previous year, the same turnover, as series adjusted by the number of working days and seasonality, globally increased by 12.7 percent, due to results reported in other services rendered mainly to enterprises (+16.6 percent), activities in motion picture, video, television programme production, programming and broadcasting (+16.4 percent), transports (+14.9 percent), information service activities and information technology activities (+11.7 percent) and communications (+3.9 percent).
According to INS, in September 2017 vs September 2016, the turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises, as gross series, went up in nominal terms by 10.8 percent, following activities in motion picture, video, television programmes production, programming and broadcasting (+18.4 percent), activities in transports (+14.1 percent), other services provided mainly to enterprises (+11.7 percent), activities in communications (+5.7 percent) and information service activities and information technology activities (+0.9 percent).
Furthermore, in the same interval, the turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises increased by 11.4 percent, as series adjusted by the number of working days and seasonality, and the activities in motion picture, video, television programmes production, programming and broadcasting (+18.1 percent), and activities in transports (+16.4 percent), next to other services provided mainly to enterprises (+14.8 percent) contributed most to this result. On the other hand, information service activities and information technology activities declined by 1.7 percent.
The statistics also reveal that in September 2017, the turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises increased compared to the previous month, as gross series (by 2.8 percent), but it dropped by 1 percent as adjusted series. AGERPRES .
