The University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB) will organise between 21 and 22 November, the third edition of the event called "Start your StartUP", a programme dedicated exclusively to pupils and students who want to turn bold ideas into real business projects.
"This year's edition represents the largest university initiative in Romania for training the next generation of entrepreneurs. 'Start your StartUP' has become a benchmark for young people with entrepreneurial potential, providing them with a complex platform where ideas gain direction and talent meets professional mentoring. The event takes place in two stages: a registration and business plan evaluation phase, and a final stage in which pupils and students present their ideas live to the jury (21-22 November)," according to a release.
According to the quoted source, this year 25 pupil teams and 15 student teams will reach the final stage, each with ambitious projects that could become tomorrow's success stories in Romanian entrepreneurship.
Students and pupils will have the opportunity to interact directly with entrepreneurs, start-up founders, investors and technology companies. Moreover, within the live sessions, the participants will receive individual mentoring, advice on product development, business idea validation and pitch preparation - essential skills for the new generation of entrepreneurs.
According to same source, the "Start your StartUP 2025" includes an exhibition area, workshops dedicated to entrepreneurial skills, meetings with industry leaders and a networking platform dedicated to young people with initiative.

'Start your StartUP' is an exercise in responsibility towards the future and a direct investment in the generation that will shape the economy of the coming decades," UPB Rector Mihnea Costoiu said, as quoted in the press release.
