Wholesale trade in Romania recorded a 7-percent jump in the first nine months of 2017 in raw series against the same period of the previous year, with the most significant increases being recorded in the non-specialised wholesale trade (+ 14.4 percent), as well as specialised wholesale (+ 14.1 percent), according to data with the National Institute of Statistics (INS), released on Tuesday.
The wholesale trade turnover (except of motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased by 7.2 percent, January-September, 2017, adjusted for work days and seasonality.
Also in the same period, compared with the first nine months of 2016, the wholesale trade turnover (except of motor vehicles and motorcycles) advanced 7 percent in raw series.
INS data show that in September 2017 compared with September 2016, the wholesale trade turnover was up both in raw series (+ 5.5 percent) and in adjusted series (+ 6.7 percent).
The wholesale trade turnover (except of motor vehicles and motorcycles) declined 2.6 percent in raw series and 1.6 percent when adjusted for work days and seasonality, in September 2017, on a monthly basis. AGERPRES .
