Over 10,000 consumers in several localities of Prahova County were left without electricity on Wednesday morning due to issues caused in the context of the Code Orange weather warning for heavy rain.
According to a report from Distributie Energie Electrica Romania, Ploiesti Branch, the areas affected by power outages include Draganesti, Fantanele, Traisteni, Varbilau, Alunis, Bertea and Stefesti.
Four teams are on-site working to fix the problems.
Additionally, firefighters intervened in six incidents to remove fallen trees.
These events occurred in the municipality of Ploiesti, on County Road 102 in the town of Plopeni, and in the towns of Sinaia, Valenii de Munte and Campina. No victims were reported, according to the Prahova County Inspectorate for Emergency Situations.
