As many as 220 COVID-19 Omicron cases were reported in Romania for the week April 11-17, the National Public Health Institute (INSP) reported on Tuesday.
According to INSP, as of April 17, 4,988 Omicron cases were confirmed, and 1,720 of them tested positive for the BA.2 subvariant (24%).
As of April 17, 13,090 sequencers were reported to the INSP - CNSCBT, according to agerpres.ro.
The 220 sequencers of the week April 11 -17 were reported by INCDMM Cantacuzino (95) and INBI Bals (125).
