2,989 persons vaccinated against COVID-19 in 24hrs; 73 doses inoculated to children aged 5-11

2,989 doses of Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson&Johnson vaccines were administered in the past 24 hours, of which 485 represented the first dose, 944 the second dose and 1,560 the third dose, the National Coordinating Committee for Vaccination Activities against COVID-19 informed on Monday.

Of the total number of doses performed, 73 were Pfizer Pediatric for children aged 5 to 11 years olds (12 - first dose and 61 - second dose).

According to the CNCAV, since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, on December 27, 2020, 16,722,679 doses of vaccine were inoculated to 8,113,976 people, 8,074,960 receiving the full scheme and 2,541,220 being immunised with the third dose, Agerpres.ro informs.

There has been a systemic reaction recorded in the past 24 hours.

In total, since the start of the vaccination campaign, there have been 19,996 side affects recorded to COVID vaccines, 2,208 local and 17,788 systemic.
