As many as 3,520 Ukrainian citizens have requested asylum in Romania since the start of the conflict in Ukraine and until now, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed on Wednesday.
Currently, occupation rate for accommodation centers within the General Inspectorate for Immigration is 73.2%, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 28,888 Ukrainian citizens have entered Romania in the last 24 hours and 25,506 have left Romania.
