As many as 414 cases of COVID with the Omicron variant were confirmed during the week of February 21-27, the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) informs.
According to the INSP, 2,933 Omicron cases were confirmed until February 27, Agerpres.ro informs.
The report in regards to COVID-19 cases confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern says that until February 27 as many as 11,247 sequencing processes were reported to the INSP - the National Center for Oversight and Control of Transmissible Diseases (CNSCBT), including 417 during the week of February 21-27.
Also, three COVID cases with the Delta variant were confirmed in the last week.
