President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday signed a decree decorating actor Florin Piersic with a Star of Romania in rank of Officer National Order.
According to a press statement of the Presidential Administration, the head of state awarded Florin Piersic the National Order of the Star of Romania in rank of Officer "in recognition of the outstanding artistic performances held on the most important stages countrywide, for the love, understanding and talent displayed in promoting film and drama and young talents."
Actor Florin Piersic turned 80 on Wednesday.
