Aircraft recorded delays of up to 50 minutes since their scheduled take off from the Bucharest airports due to deicing operations, informs the Bucharest National Airport Company (CNAB).
"There was a lot of ice on the aircraft, so the deicing process was more difficult, with delays reaching up to 50 minutes in some take-offs. They constantly intervened with the machines, so that the runaways, the platforms, the tracks, and also the access roads are now clean and have good adhesion," says the CNAB representatives.
The capital city and 25 counties are currently under a Code Yellow for rain, snow, sleet and blizzard, until Friday at 2 pm.
