The mayor of Brasov, Allen Coliban, who is running for a new mandate supported by the United Right Alliance - Save Romanian Union (USR) - People's Movement Party (PMP) - Right Force, voted at No 2 Kindergarten in the old city centre.
On this occasion, he addressed the young people of the city.
"The message I send everyone, but especially the younger generation - we have many young people who have the right to vote for the first time today - to do it with their heart and to think that previous generations died so that we have this right," said the mayor of Brasov.
He also said that he was confident about the outcome and the fairness of the elections, but added that "we have our eyes open on everything that happens in the polling stations through our representatives so that we can make sure that democracy is respected."
