The COVID-19 incidence rate in Bucharest has passed 3 cases per thousand inhabitants, on Wednesday, which means entering the red scenario, Agerpres reports.
The Romanian capital was last at an incidence rate of more than 3 cases per thousand inhabitants on November 23, when a level of 3.04 was recorded.
From that date until December 24, the COVID-19 pandemic recorded low values of up to 0.61 cases per thousand inhabitants, which were maintained until after the New Year, when it began to rise again.
The highest rate of infection with SARS-CoV-2 in the capital was reached on October 22, when it hit 16.54 cases per thousand inhabitants.
