Bucharest Stock Exchange closes high on Tuesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session with all indices in the green and RON 62.64 million (EUR 12.59 million) worth of transactions, told Agerpres.

The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.63 percent to 17,699.42 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.59 percent.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.72 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK gained 0.35 percent.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies inched up 0.07 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG rose 1.24 percent.

The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market went up 0.06 percent.

The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Banca Transilvania with RON 16.49 million, followed by BRD with trades worth RON 9.11 million, and Romgaz with RON 6.95 million.

According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+15 percent), COMCM (+13.79 percent), and Mecanica Fina (+12.71 percent).

Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Casa de Bucovina - Mountain Club (-3.73 percent), Chimcomplex (-3.53 percent), and Promateris (-3.33 percent).
