Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Friday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday's session higher on all indices, and the total value of transactions reached 46.44 million RON (9.33 million euros).

On the Regulated Market, the most liquid were the BRD - Groupe Societe Generale shares - 7.09 million RON, followed by Banca Transilvania shares - 7.04 million RON, and Romgaz - 2.78 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.47%, up to 17,045.91 points.

The BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks, closed up 0.43%, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.47%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up 0.46%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose 0.33%, while the BET-NG, which tracks the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed up 0.80%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, rose 0.75%.

The best developments were recorded by UAMT (+14.16%), Mecanica Ceahlau (+13.08%) and Mecanica Fina (+6.67%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Energopetrol shares (-14.52%), Rompetrol Well Services (-3.11%) and Altur (-2.86%).
