The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session higher on almost all indices, with trading exceeding 99.15 million lei (19.50 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 1.02%, to 22,852.54 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, recorded an increase of 0.99%.
Also, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.79%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 1.83%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up by 0.86%, and BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utilities companies, rose by 1.14%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up by 0.13%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 15.54 million lei, followed by Romgaz shares - with 11.45 million lei, and those of Hidroelectrica - 7.36 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by Armatura (+14.96%), Prefab (+9.63) and Comelf (+9.30%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by Evergent Investments (-5.74%), Sinteza (-3.31%) and Romcarbon (-2.7%).
