Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Monday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed the first session of this week lower on almost all indices, and the value of the transactions amounted to 42.06 million RON (8.45 million euros), told Agerpres.

The most liquid shares were those of Transilvania Bank, with transactions of 9.708 million RON, followed by the shares of OMV Petrom, with 2.88 million RON, and of Prebet, with 1.18 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.58%, to the value of 17,372.05 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares from the Stock Exchange, recorded a decline of 0.56%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks closed down 0.47%, while the SIF index BET-FI was the only one to gain 0.33%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, fell by 0.34%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.62%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.48%.

The best developments were registered by Carbochim (+14.29%), Conted (+14%) and Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+5.88%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Aeta (-12.90%), STK Emergent (-4.92%) and Bermas (-2.76%).
