Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Monday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed the first session of the week lower on almost all indices, with trading of 104.84 million RON (21.04 million euros), with share transactions representing 90.29 million RON (18.14 million euros).

The main index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.25%, to 17,476.39 points, the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares, closed down by 0.27%, and the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.24%.

On the other hand, the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.29%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, recorded a decline of 0.54%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.28%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.39%.

The most liquid shares on the regulated market were those of Banca Transilvania, with trades of 27.64 million RON, followed by Hidroelectrica shares, with 5.52 million RON, and Erste Group Bank - 3.17 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Conted (+14.52%), Impact Developer&Contractor (+4.05%) and Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+4%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Romcab (-14.62%), Armatura (-13.89%) and Sinteza (-12.28%).
