Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Monday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Monday's trading session lower on most indices, with trading of over 2.21 billion RON, or 438.44 million euros, mainly supported by transactions in bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance, inform Agerpres.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.19%, to the value of 20,792.15 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, also closed down by 0.19%.

The BET-XT blue-chip index, the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.13%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, rose 0.28%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, also closed down 0.10%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell 0.12%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, fell 0.12%.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 8.78 million RON, followed by Digi Communications shares, with 7.25 million RON, and OMV Petrom shares, with 2.41 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+9%), Romcab (+6.25%) and Vrancart (+5.58%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Green Tech International (-8.88%), Aeta SA (-8.59%) and Condmag (-6.67%).
