Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Monday's trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's trading session lower on almost all indices, with the value of transactions amounting to 57.41 million RON (11.32 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.33%, to 19,703.91 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, also closed down by 0.33%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 0.32%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.01% compared to the previous session.

At the same time, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, fell by 0.38%, and BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded a depreciation of 0.33%.

In contrast, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.78%.

The most liquid were Banca Transilvania shares, with 18.44 million RON, Hidroelectrica - with 4.55 million RON and OMV Petrom - with 2.87 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Artego (+13.91%), Altur (+6.62%), respectively Patria Bank (+5.26%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Prefab (-6.47%), Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-5%) and Casa de Bucovina Club de Munte (-4.32%).
