The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's session lower on almost all indices, and the value of transactions rose slightly to 91.73 million RON (18.21 million euros), from 90.41 million RON (17.93 million euros) in the previous session.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 1.15%, to the value of 18,603.99 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 1.10%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 1.02%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.73%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, depreciated by 0.93%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 1.25%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed with an increase of 0.09%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 33.81 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 5.47 million RON, and Hidroelectrica, with over 2.48 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Condmag (+14.29%), Compania Energopetrol (+10%) and Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (+8.33%).
On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Prefab (-5.84%), Santierul Naval Orsova (-5.56%) and Sinteza (-4.86%). AGERPRES
