Bucharest Stock Exchange closes mixed Monday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed mixed on Monday, with a transaction value of 70.66 million RON (14.2 million euros), told Agerpres.

The most liquid shares were those of Romgaz, with transactions of 13.8 million RON, followed by the shares of Hidroelectrica - 10.96 million RON and Banca Transilvania - 8.99 million RON.

The main BET index stagnated, recording 17,588.19 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 stocks on the Stock Exchange, registered a slight advance of 0.03%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid shares, depreciated by 0.11%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, closed the session up by 0.04%.

On the other hand, the BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, lost 0.15%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed down by 0.65%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, fell by 0.70%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of UAMT (+12.5%), UCM Resita (+4.10%) and Rompetrol Well Services (+3.97%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-13.98%), Mecanica Fina (-7.81%) and SIF Hoteluri (-6.20%).
