Bucharest Stock Exchange closes mixed Monday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the first session of this week mixed, with a trading value of 104.92 million RON (20.57 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.15%, to 16,458.52 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 0.08%.

The BET-XT blue-chip index, the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.08%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, rose 0.38%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose 0.60%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed down 0.36%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up 0.04%.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 36.23 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 13.70 million RON, and BRD - Groupe Societe Generale, with 7.83 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (+9%), Electromagnetica (+6.19%) and IAR Brasov (+6.01%).
