The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's trading session slightly higher, with trading exceeding 75.6 million lei (14.85 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.07%, to 21,644.87 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, rose by 0.04%.
The BET-XT blue-chip index, the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.10%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, rose 0.74%.
In contrast, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down 0.07%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 0.19%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, fell 2.16%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 19.55 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 9.44 million lei, and Hidroelectrica shares, with almost 5.117 million lei.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by Armatura shares (+14.44%), Altur (+5.88%) and AETA (+5.22%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of the Electrocontact Industrial Group (- 12.96%), Mecanica Ceahlau (-10.38%) and Green Tech International (-6.18%).
