Bucharest Stock Exchange main index reaches historical maximum of 18,385 points, on Thursday

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, on Thursday registered an increase of 0.70% compared to the previous session, reaching a historical maximum of 18,385.28 points.

The turnover exceeded 94.4 million RON, respectively 18.9 million euros, of which 89.6 million RON (18.006 million euros) represented transactions with shares.

On the Regulated Market, the most traded shares were Hidroelectrica, with 14.69 million RON, those of OMV Petrom, with 11.9 million RON, and Banca Transilvania securities with 11.61 million RON.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, recorded an increase of 0.52%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, depreciated by 1.04%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, gained 0.20% in value, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed up 0.75%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.98%.

The best developments were registered by Alumil Rom Industry (+6.27%), Transelectrica (+5.97%) and Romcab (+4.97%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-10%), Condmag (-7.69%) and COMCM Constanta (-7.53%).
