Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday's session lower across all indices, with total transactions amounting to almost 9 million lei (1.77 million euros), 50 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which reflects the development of the 20 most liquid companies, fell by 0.15%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, registered a similar drop.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.16%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, fell by 0.12%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs declined by 0.23%, while the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, lost 0.28% of its value.
BETAeRO, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, dropped by 0.25%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+14.41%), Sinteza (+1.64%) and Biofarm (+1.48%).
On the other hand, the shares of Armatura (-10%), Artego (-5.45%) and Prebet (-4.15%) were down.
