The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened on Friday with an increase on almost all indices, transactions amounting to 8.6 million RON (1.7 million euros) after the first 30 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 0.19%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, also recorded an advance of 0.19%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, was increasing by 0.18%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.33%.
On the other hand, the BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a decrease of 0.27%, and BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, saw an appreciation of 0.29%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 1.37%.
According to the BVB data, the largest increases in share values were recorded by the companies Carbochim (+9.65%), Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (+3.76%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (+3.62%).
On the other hand, the shares of Sinteza (-10.20%), Romcab (-4.26%) and AAGES (-2.38%) were decreasing.
