Bucharest Stock Exchange opens higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday's trading session higher on all indices, with turnover at RON 7.328 million (EUR 1.482 million) after 30 minutes of trading, told Agerpres.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.11%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, also recorded an advance of 0.11%.

Meanwhile, the BET-XT blue-chip broad index of the 25 most liquid stocks rose 0.05%, while the benchmark for investment fund returns, BET-BK, fell 0.02%.

The SIF's BET-FI index was down 0.56%.

On the other hand, BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, appreciated 0.17%.

According to BVB data, Socep (+11.38%), Altur (+8.33%) and Romcab (+2.48%) registered the highest increases in share values.

On the other hand, Condmag (-10%), AAges (-4.57%) and Alumil Rom Industry (-2.36%) shares were down.
