BVB stocks close Monday's trading session lower

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed lower on Monday on trades of RON 79.10 million (EUR 15.63 million).

The most traded stocks were Hidroelectrica, with RON 18.89 million in trades, followed by Banca Transilvania, which generated trades worth RON 12.85 million, and Romgaz, with trades of RON 11.39 million.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks declined 1.36% to 20,738.87 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks went down 1.32%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell by 1.13%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was down 0.92%.

The BET-FI index of financial intermediation stocks increased by 0.97%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 1.37%.

The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was down 1.16%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were AETA (+8.77%), Artego (+4.27%) and Infinity Capital Investments (+4.21%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Societatea de Constructii Napoca S.A. (-14.48%), Casa de Bucovina - Club de munte (-7.47%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (-7.29%)
