The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed lower on Thursday, on trades of RON 64.97 million (EUR 13.05 million ).
The most traded stocks were Banca Transilvania, with RON 21.32 million in trades, followed by OMV Petrom, which generated trades worth RON 5.48 million, and Romgaz, with trades of RON 3.05 million.
The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks declined 1.32% to 17,330.11 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks went down 1.30%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell by 1.16%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was down 1.30%.
The BET-FI index of financial intermediation stocks decreased by 0.34%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 1.34%.
The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was down 0.87%.
According to BVB, the top three risers were Electroaparataj (+14.81%), Mecanica Fina (+13.94%) and SIF Hoteluri (+10.55%).
On the other hand, the top three fallers were UAMT (-5.45%), Bittnet Systems SA Bucharest (-4.59%) and Altur (-4.50%).
