Ca Fetele grabs Best Film trophy at Bucharest Best Comedy Film

The film Ca Fetele, directed by Camelia Popa, received the trophy for Best Film in the competition of the Bucharest Best Comedy Film Festival 2024, a press release from the organizers sent to AGERPRES on Monday, reads.

 

The award for Best Performance - Leading Role was awarded to actress Maia Morgenstern for the role of Silvia in the Ca Fetele film, and the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role went to actor Marian Râlea for the role of Mitu in the same film.

 

The awards were offered at the official ceremony of the Closing Gala that took place on Sunday, at the Romanian Peasant's Museum Cinema.

 

The 6th edition of Bucharest Best Comedy Film 2024, themed "Comedy - the supreme sarcasm of life", offered the public a selection of international comedy films - a world tour from 10 different cinematographic perspectives, such as "Love Again", "The Final Race" (2023, Sweden), "Romeo e Giulietta", "2020", "Dolphin Boy", "Combat Wombat 2", "Dublin Crust", "Farador", "Naale Rajaa Koli Majaa" and "Ca Fetele".

 

The ten films were analyzed during the festival by Adrian Paduraru, Andrei Duban, Andrei Zinca and Alexandru Petrovici, as the jury.
