The National Trade Union Confederation (Cartel ALFA) is analyzing the possibility of filing a contentious-administrative appeal in relation to the freezing of pensions provided for by the 'Little train' Ordinance, if the Ombudsperson does not follow up the organization's referral.
"If the Ombudsperson does not follow up on the referral of the CNS Cartel ALFA, there is another recourse, a contentious-administrative appeal, even if it is slower. We can challenge the non-application of the law and, in the process, we can ask for a point of view of the Constitutional Court, only that it takes a little longer," the president of CNS Cartel ALFA, Bogdan Hossu told AGERPRES on Wednesday
Earlier on Wednesday, the Ombudsperson, Renate Weber, announced that both CNS Cartel Alfa and the Alliance for Romanians' Union (AUR) have requested the Ombudsperson to challenge the so-called 'little train' ordinance providing for austerity measures with the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR).
Renate Weber told AGERPRES that the representatives of Cartel Alfa made the request on the grounds that the Ordinance is unconstitutional and announced that the institution has registered petitions on this normative act from several individuals.
