Code Red heat warning for Bucharest and 8 counties on Wednesday, highs of 42 expected

The National Weather Administration issued on Monday a Code Red heat advisory effective on Wednesday across 8 counties and in Bucharest.

According to the weather forecasters, the counties of Teleorman, Giurgiu, Ilfov, Calarasi, Ialomita, Braila, Galati, the west of Constanta and Bucharest will experience extreme temperature highs of 40 - 42 degrees Celsius and intense heat-related discomfort.
