Crevedia Explosion/ Zero priority is to offer those affected all necessary support (president Iohannis)
President Klaus Iohannis stated, on Saturday night, in the context of the tragedy caused by the explosions in Crevedia, Dambovita County, north of Bucharest that the zero priority is, at this moment, "to offer those affected all the necessary support and to facilitate their access to emergency treatment".
"A new tragedy shook Romania this evening and I am deeply saddened that the explosions in Crevedia resulted in victims. I send my condolences to the grieving families and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured. At this moment, the zero priority is to offer those affected all the necessary support and to facilitate their access to emergency treatment. As soon as the situation in the risk area is stabilized, an investigation must be quickly started to find out if the law and rules were violated. I request the authorities to take urgent measures for the injured so that the tragedies of the past do not repeat themselves," Iohannis wrote on Facebook
