Cycling: Romanian Ede Molnar, ranked second at MTB XCE World Cup in Sao Paulo

Romanian cyclist Ede Molnar ranked second in the XCC race held on Sunday at the MTB XCE (mountain bike eliminator) World Cup stage in Sao Paulo (Brazil).

The victory went to Brazilian Luiz Henrique Cocuzzi, in 10 min 26 sec 49/100, followed by Molnar at 15/100 and Slovenian Jakob Klemencic, at 64/100.

In the general classification of the Brazilian stage, Swede Edvin Lindh ranked first, followed by Luiz Henrique Cocuzzi and Dutchman Jeroen van Eck, while Molnar took 15th place.

Klemencic leads the overall standings of the MTB XCE World Cup, with 389 points, followed by van Eck, 319 points, Lindh, 315 points, etc. Molnar is sixth, with 194 points.
