Daniel Dragos Tanasoiu was appointed head of the Prime Minister's Control Body, under a decision of Prime Minister Ludovic Orban.
He will replace Constantin Robu, who was released from office.
The two PM's decisions were published in the Official Journal on Monday.
Constantin Robu had been appointed head of the Prime Minister' Control Body in January 2018 by then PM Viorica Dancila.
