Prosecutor-in-chief of the National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA) Laura Codruta Kovesi mentions that she will follow the legal procedure and will respond point by point to all the statements that have been presented by Justice Minister Tudorel Toader, who proposed her removal from office.
"I will follow the legal procedure and I will present myself, anytime needed, to respond, point by point, to all the statements presented by the Justice Minister," Kovesi stated on Friday.
The clarification was made following the mass media requests regarding a standpoint in respect to the announcement of the Justice Minister regarding "the initiation of the procedure for removing from office Chief Prosecutor of the National Anticorruption Directorate Laura Codruta Kovesi," a release of the DNA mentions.
