Sevil Shhaideh who, among others, has served a brief stint as Minister of Regional Development and Public Administration in 2015, is the Social-Democrats' proposition for Premier, Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) Liviu Dragnea announced on Wednesday.
Dragnea said that "for the time being" he cannot claim the office of PM himself.
"An unjust conviction and a deeply unconstitutional law have prevented me, for the time being, from claiming this office myself," Dragnea said after the consultations at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace.
