During the week of 10-16 of January, 57% of confirmed COVID cases were registered in unvaccinated people, the Public Institute of Public Health (INSP) informed on Thursday, in its weekly surveillance report.

Among the vaccinated that got sick, over half were either immediately after vaccination, or more than 6 months since the last dose.

According to the INSP, since the beginning of the pandemic and until now, 85.9% of total casualties were in persons over 60, while 54.5% of casualties were men.

93.2% of the deceased had at least one associated comorbidity.
