The Capital and three counties are in the yellow scenario of SARS-CoV-2 infection rate, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) announced on Saturday.
Bucharest registered an infection rate of 1.78 cases per thousand inhabitants, down from 1.90 the previous day, agerpres.ro confirms.
Also in the yellow zone (incidence between 1.5 and 3) are the counties of Ilfov - 1.67, Cluj - 1.65, Alba - 1.55.
Also, 38 counties are in the green area (less than 1.5 cases per thousand inhabitants), the lowest rates of SARS-CoV-2 infection being registered in Gorj - 0.30, Suceava - 0.32 Mari Maramures - 0.38.
According to GCS, the areas with most newly confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection compared to the last report are Bucharest - 178, Cluj - 94, Timis - 76.
The fewest new cases were registered in the counties of Gorj - 5, Satu Mare - 6, Tulcea - 6.
In the last 24 hours, 1,305 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infected people have been reported.
