The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, said on Monday that in the first half of next year the master plans for health services would be ready for five regions in Romania and the three that already exist would be revised.
"We are now working on this national health strategy, which is already in transparency and which is currently being studied by specialized committees to see if the sectoral strategies match what this national strategy provides, and in the first half of next year we will had a master plan for 5 regions in Romania, a master plan regarding the need for health services, and the 3 that already exist will be revised, so that the development of the health system, until the year 2030, is based on real bases related to the need for health services, not based on impressions. Many times it happens that we make the decision like this", Rafila said during the debate "Strategic directions for the Romanian health system, until 2030", organized at the "George Emil Palade" University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology of Targu Mures.
During the debate with the professionals in the field, Alexandru Rafila briefly presented the project of the National Health Strategy of Romania, launched in public debate a day ago, the possibilities of financing health projects through various programs, as well as the state of the steps for the construction of the three regional hospitals in the counties of Iasi, Cluj and Dolj.
